As a safety net system, the Health Care District provides our community access to quality health care services. We fill the gaps in Palm Beach County's health care delivery system without duplicating existing state or federal programs. As health care changes, we strive to meet those changes to keep our community healthy.
In many ways, our C. L. Brumback Primary Care Clinics serve as our front door. Our Federally Qualified Health Centers serve all patients, regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status. The District Cares Specialty Benefit is an option for many uninsured residents who are patients at our clinics. Since 1993, the Health Care District has been providing health care benefits to qualifying low-income residents who cannot obtain or cannot afford coverage anywhere else.
